Scott Flippo is a native Arkansan, who was born and raised in Mountain Home.  Scott graduated from the University of Arkansas, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  Shortly after graduation he returned to Baxter County where he purchased his family’s small business, Flippo's Carefree Living in 2003.

Scott Flippo's pride in North Central Arkansas is evident by the numerous hours his spends traveling the district, attending community events, and advocating for senior citizen and Veterans’ efforts. As State Senator, Scott has been recognized by Arkansas Right to Life, Arkansas Family Council, and Conduit for Action for his willingness to stand up for smart government reforms and conservative Arkansas values. Flippo has also been recognized by the Arkansas chapter of the National Federation Independent Business and the Arkansas Trucking Association for his work to lower taxes and reduce the burden of government.

Flippo has also been endorsed by both Gun Owners of Arkansas and the National Rifle Association for his support of law-abiding citizens’ Second Amendment rights.
